The Christmas markets in Alsace are particularly romantic. By the end of November, the region has already been transformed into a real Christmas wonderland. The smell of cinnamon and spices is everywhere and the medieval half-timbered houses are decorated for Christmas.
Some of the most beautiful Christmas markets are not far from our Forest Village in Alsace. We have selected our three favourites for you:
OBERNAI
The gastronomic Christmas market in the small town of Obernai is not only known for its delicious food, but also for the variety of arts and crafts exhibitors.
KAYSERSBERG
Small and so cosy. Around 30 chalets can be found during Advent season at the traditional Christmas market in the picturesque and medieval town Kaysersberg.
COLMAR
The Christmas market in Colmar is probably one of the most beautiful in the region. Cosy chalets, Christmas decorations and twinkling lights as far as the eye can see.
After a walk with mulled wine at one of the many Christmas markets just a stone's throw away from Nutchel, you can warm up in front of the fire in your Cosy Cabin with a hot chocolate and roasted almonds. We say: A perfect pre-Christmas getaway.
