The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Can I stay for one night?
At Nutchel, we really wish our customers to experience the back-to-basics concept, which implies a stay for a slightly longer period and therefore it is not possible to book a Cosy Cabin for 1 night only. The minimum duration of a stay is of 2 nights, but exception may exist due to school and bank holidays.

Are the cabins located in the middle of the forest?
All of our forest villages are located midst nature, but still close to the street to guarantee accessibility. At Nutchel, we want to make a positive impact on nature and therefore were obliged to put some cabins closer to each other, in order to protect the ground and the surrounding trees. The Cosy Cabins are scattered throughout the domains and in proximity to each other.
Is there a charging station for cars on site?
Unfortunately, we don’t have a charging station for your electrical/hybrid car (yet). However, there are charging spots within a short distance from both domains and our on-site team will be glad to advise you accordingly.
Who is my emergency contact on the domain?
Upon arrival at the domain, you'll get a full brief of all necessary numbers and contacts you might need during your stay with us. We take care of you! :-)
Is there a grocery shop on site or nearby?
In our Cosy Chalet, you'll find a little Honesty Shop with some local food and drink options to buy, as well as recyclable cups, bags, etc. However, for a larger grocery shop we advise you to visit one of the supermarkets in the area, just a few minutes located away from our domains.
Is there firewood available on the domain?
Yes, there is enough firewood for you available on the domain, free of cost.
Life in a cabin
Is there electricity and a heating in the cabins?
Every cabin contains one electricity plug to charge your necessary device(s). We kindly ask you not to put a multiple plug.
There is no classical heating in the cabins, but by regular use of the woodstove, the cabins easily get comfy and warm, even during colder nights.
Is there warm water available in the cabins?
Yes, there is warm water in the cabin shower. If you need some warm water to wash the dishes, you can easily take the big pot and warm up some water on the woodstove.
Is the sleeping area a separated room?
All our Cosy Cabins are open space. The sleeping area is separated with a curtain from the living room and the kitchen. The bathroom is separated.
Is Wi-Fi available in the cabins?
Nope, niente, nada! We made a conscious decision not to install Wi-Fi in the cabins as this is not part of the Nutchel philosophy.
Does the cabin have household appliances?
The access to electricity is limited in our cosy cabins. Therefore:
There’s no classic fridge in the cabin as we've opted for a more ecological approach and use cool boxes with freezing elements, which can be picked up and returned at the dedicated areas on the domain, free of cost.
There is no microwave nor oven in the cabin. To cook food, you can use the gas stove, gas BBQ or wood stove available in your cabin.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are allowed in our Classic for 4 or Classic for 6 cabins.
Please inform us beforehand so we can provide you with the necessary utensils such as a dog bed and a feeding bowl.
Can we have 1 additional guest sleeping on the couch?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to exceed the cabin’s maximal capacity for safety and insurance reason. Therefore, we do not allow an extra guest sleeping on the couch or on an inflatable mattress.
Is there enough space for a baby bed to put in the cabin?
Yes, there is enough space for one baby bed to put next to the bed on the ground floor.
Can we use the hot tub all year long?
Yes indeed ! The hot tub is heated at 38°C for your entire stay, for you to enjoy a cold evening in December or a summer night in mid-July in relaxing warm water.
Do I need to clean my cabin upon departure?
You don't need to clean your cabin. However, we ask you to leave the towels and bedsheets on the floor and do your dishes. In case of any loss or damage, we have the right to charge you an extra cleaning fee, as per our terms and conditions.
Food & Activities
Is breakfast included in the price of the cabin?
Breakfast is typically not included in the cabin price.
However, you have the possibility to book breakfast online or upon arrival at the domain. And if you book a stay ending on a Sunday, breakfast will however be automatically included.
We just need your orders for the arrival day/next morning to organize the logistics. For the remaining of your stay, you can either contact our Customer Service or see with our local team directly.
What is included in the food packages?
To discover what has been included in the food baskets, please click on the correct Forest Village:
Please let us know if you have any food restriction, so we can offer you alternative options.
How can I make coffee in the cabin?
In all of our Cosy Cabins, you'll find a Bialetti coffee maker. Please note that there is no coffee powder in the cabins, so you have to bring it with you or buy it in our Honesty Shop.
Do you have any cabins suitable for guests with reduced mobility?
At Nutchel Champagne, our Flow cabins are specially designed to accommodate guests with reduced mobility.
Unfortunately, at Nutchel Les Ardennes and Nutchel Alsace, our cabins are not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. There are too many obstacles that would prevent you from enjoying a comfortable stay: the uneven terrain, steps leading to the cabins, and the shower tray which has a ledge to step over.
Where can I get advices on good hikes and activities around the domains?
On the page for each forest village, you will find a map with suggested recommended activities:
Please do not hesitate to also contact our customer service to receive the best updated brochures of walks and activities.
Our local crews are also more than happy to give you the best tips to have wonderful walks around the domain.
In your bag
Do I need to bring my own bed linen?
No, you don't. All beds in the cabin will be made upon your arrival. Have a look to our dedicated page to make sure that you pack everything right for your stay.
Do I need to bring towels?
Each cosy cabin is equipped with a set of towels per person, so you don't necessarily need to bring extra ones. However, if you plan on using a hot tub or the water path in Alsace or in Champagne, you might want to bring other bath towels too.
Do I need to bring charcoal to use my BBQ?
All our barbecues run on gas. Therefore, you can come with a rested mind: everything is ready for you to use them. They’re also usable all year long thanks to our roofed terrace.

Our vision for Nutchel
Disconnect to reconnect
Nutchel is a European tourism brand created in 2018 by two cofounders, Clémence Rousseau-Dumarcet and Bernard Van Laethem, who wanted to create a new sustainable tourism experience. Disconnect to reconnect – in a cabin that combines a return to basics with an outdoor lifestyle. We select promising natural environments that were once inhabited but have since been abandoned by humans. We give nature back its voice, replant vegetation and build our cabins, limiting our impact on ecosystems to the bare minimum. We are convinced that restoring this balance and giving meaning back to the bonds that humans forge with their environment allow them to reconnect with one another.
Always with the same starting point
It always starts the same, as the story of a place once inhabited and now left behind by humans. With our team, we work on erasing our human print on nature and on giving a second breath to nature.
"Architects who dream of houses that act as lungs, houses that act as sieves, letting air through, filtering the outside, but also mindful of what they themselves exhale, and which actually do us good" - Marielle Macé, Respire
At its heart, we delicately, gently, and quietly place our cosy cabins. There, one is free to create a unique connection with the surroundings during a refined, simple, and profound experience. To rediscover their capacity for oxygenation, and, thanks to nature, inspires, expires, and breathes.

The 3 main aspects of the Nutchel experience
Disconnect to your own rythm
Nutchel is about getting out. Out of your daily routine and into the great outdoors. To spend a few days in the forest, surrounded by nature. Sheltered by a beautiful and cosy cabin.
Going back to simple things
Nutchel is about doing things yourself. It is a come back to basics through simple actions, such as lighting an oil lamp or gathering wood.
Build connections with your loved ones
Nutchel is about feeling. Feeling the joy of the moments spent together and the thrill of a micro-adventure. The pleasure of reconnecting with your body, your heart (and your stomach).

CEOs set objectives for each teambuilding
Employees are usual committed towards their work. But the fast-paced work life often prevents them to take the time to really communicate. This can lead to poor decision-making, tensions between colleagues, and overall fatigue towards work. Investing in a teambuilding can help with:
(Re)creating cohesion within the team
Clarifying a vision for their organization
Reviving a dynamic that has stalled
Disappointing return on investment
There is a lot of expenses on a seminar, whether it's time, money, energy... or all at the same time. But CEOs sometimes don't see the return on investing on a teambuilding.
The teams have a good time and that's it
The organizing team is under pressure
It is not as impactful as expected, and managers are frustrated.
And everything is back to the old ways a few weeks a later.
Explaining the low ROI
Most of the time, a seminar's low return on investment has nothing to do with the location, nor the budget, nor the goodwill of its participants. It is rather a question of allowing the seminar transformative event.
Employees are not informed of the goals of the seminar
There is no rituals included in the schedule
There is no assessment of the impact of the seminar (before vs after)
No action is taken to build upon the seminar's momentum
A Nutchel seminar to guarantee your return on investment
During the seminar, your teams will experience a simple yet radical change. The Nutchel environment, location and the simple shared moments give time and space for more qualitative conversations. Collegues finally listen to one another, feel more confident towards the rest of the group, and therefore understanding each other better. Something that last even way after the end of the teambuilding.
Colleagues communicate more clearly with each other
They make decision with greater self-confident
The latent tensions have been identified and can be solved
