That's why our forest village includes two Flow Cabins specially designed to welcome guests with reduced mobility, as well as accessible facilities and adapted pathways throughout the site. We also welcome guests with visual, hearing or intellectual disabilities, with our team available to provide assistance whenever needed.

Located 2 hours east from Paris, Nutchel Champagne combines an immersive stay in nature with facilities designed with accessibility in mind. Our two adapted Flow Cabins allow guests with reduced mobility and other disabilities to enjoy the atmosphere of a cosy cabin while benefiting from practical features designed to make your stay easier and more comfortable.

Accessibility at Nutchel Champagne also goes beyond the cabins themselves. Adapted pathways and parking spaces make it possible to move around the forest village, while our common areas and wellness facilities have also been designed to welcome guests with reduced mobility.

Because everyone's needs are different, our team is available throughout your stay if you require assistance. While guests with reduced mobility can stay independently, we recommend travelling with a companion or carer when additional assistance may be required.

How are your cabins adapted for people with disabilities?

Our Flow Cabin has been designed to combine the cosy simplicity of a Nutchel cabin with features adapted to guests with reduced mobility.

Each of our two accessible cabins can accommodate up to four guests. This makes them suitable not only for couples, but also for families or friends travelling together.

Here are the specific accessibility features of these cabins:

• An accessible living area: Inside the Flow Cabin, you'll find the warm and simple atmosphere that defines the Nutchel experience, with an adapted layout designed to make moving around the cabin easier. The living area includes an adapted kitchen, allowing guests with reduced mobility to take part in everyday moments such as preparing breakfast or sharing a meal together.

• An adapted bathroom: The bathroom is one of the most important considerations when choosing accessible holiday accommodation, so the Flow Cabin includes several dedicated features. You'll find a step-free shower, complete with a shower seat and support bars, as well as an adapted toilet. The washbasin has free space underneath to facilitate access from a wheelchair.

• An accessible sleeping area: The sleeping area accommodates up to four people. A lower double bed is positioned at an adapted height for guests with reduced mobility, while an additional two-person bunk bed provides sleeping space for two more guests. Please note that the upper sleeping area is not PMR-accessible.

• An accessible terrace: At Nutchel, the terrace is much more than an outdoor space. It's an extension of your cabin and an essential part of the experience. It's where you can enjoy your morning coffee and a long breakfast, read a book or simply sit together and listen to the sounds of nature. The terrace of the Flow Cabin can be accessed by guests with reduced mobility, allowing you to make the most of outdoor living during your stay. The cabin also comes with a barbecue, like our other Nutchel cabins.

Access to the cabin has also been adapted for guests with reduced mobility. However, the cabin itself is not located entirely at ground level, so we recommend contacting our team before booking if you have specific mobility requirements. The Water Path

One of the highlights of a stay at Nutchel Champagne is our Water Path, a wellness area designed for moments of relaxation surrounded by nature.

The wellness building and its facilities are accessible to guests with reduced mobility. The Water Path includes hot tubs, a sauna, a cold bath, a relaxation room and a meditation room, giving you plenty of opportunities to slow down during your stay. Accessible toilets are also available in the wellness building.

At present, however, there is no adapted lift or transfer system to enter the baths themselves. Such a device is planned, but we prefer to be transparent about the current facilities so that you can determine whether the experience meets your needs. Our team will be happy to answer any accessibility questions before your visit.

The Shack  

‍

Our main communal building, called the Shack, is accessible to guests with reduced mobility and features an adapted toilet. A dedicated accessible parking space is also available nearby.

This warm and welcoming wooden building is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, play one of the games available to guests, find information about things to see and do in the area, or even get some remote work done. You can also simply relax and take in the beautiful views from its panoramic terrace.
